My pride and joy is web development and web-based applications. Here is a sample of projects I've completed recently:

iTickets
Concert Hall Management System
The director of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra was using a paper-based system for tracking season ticket owners, seat choice, and event-based seating. My solution offered a web-based interface showing a diagram of the actual performance hall seating areas. Administrators could set up a master season seating chart and enter client information for each seat. The master charts could then be imported into actual season events and modified on the event level. The charts are flash-based and interact with PHP web services to saved changes in a MySQL database.

University Assessment Planning System
The Director of Assessment at Cedarville University needed a system to help record and map course objectives to programs. My solution allowed users to populate a list of courses organized by department and school and add objectives and assignments for each. Courses can then be added into programs. Programs have their own set of learning objectives to which each course's objectives can be mapped. A program report can be generated to show a master view of all the courses and objectives mapping to a program's objectives. The project uses PHP and MySQL with a compete HTML/CSS interface with some AJAX enhancements driven by script.aculo.us.

Student Internship Reporting System
The Social Work program at Cedarville University piloted this tool to help track student progress in off-campus internships or field experiences. The system allows campus members and off-campus supervisors to create and review a series of forms which are a part of the program's assessment and accreditation processes. Each form follows a customizable submission and revision process allowing the appropriate members to view, edit or comment on each form as necessary. The project uses PHP and MySQL with a complete HTML/CSS interface.

Project Management System
The Center for Teaching and Learning at Cedarville University needed a simple management system to help track their projects and tasks. This system allows them to create projects and tasks within projects. Projects are tracked through a customizable set of phases and track allow users to record hours worked in each phase. Tasks can be delegated and tracked by their authors and assignees. The system also includes and gantt-like goal date planner which allows users to see a big-picture view of the project phase goal dates for a given release period. The project uses PHP and MySQL with a compete HTML/CSS interface with some AJAX enhancements driven by script.aculo.us.

This design expands on a template, incorporating branding from the organization and modifying typography.

This website was built to support an online course for ENG-1400, Composition, at Cedarville University.
iTickets
While minimal, I created the branding system and concert hall designs for this project originally completed for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Read more about this project above.

Another minimal design for the a client who needed a clean portal which its members could use to connect as well as gather new members.
